Mason-Dixon is dedicated to promoting the breeding of purebred German Shorthaired Pointers. We advance the interests of the breed through sportsmanship at dog shows, obedience trials, agility trials, field trials and hunting tests. We strive to educate ourselves and others about the German Shorthaired Pointer through its history and versatility. Join the fun, become an active member and make some new friends. Network with other pointing breed enthusiasts and learn more about your breed and its natural abilities!

We are a diverse group of individuals, with a common link - our dogs. We compete in conformation, hunt tests, field trials, and agility events. Some compete or enjoy participating in multiple areas. We conduct Training Days to assist newcomers with their training. We have members that don't compete but enjoy their dogs just for their companionship. Please contact us for more information on the breed, about the club or to become a member.
